Linda López McAlister is founder and artistic director of Camino Real Productions, a Latino theater company in Albuquerque New Mexico. She started her theater career as a teenager in Los Angeles and after pursuing an acting career for a few years she became a university professor and dean. When she retired to her ancestral home of New Mexico in 2000 she came back to theater as a company manager, actor, and director. In 2006 she founded Camino Real Productions a theater company in residence at the National Hispanic Cultural Center.
