Lucas Rowley (Inupiaq)

Lucas Rowley was born and raised in Homer, Alaska, and is of Inupiaq, Scottish and Italian descent. He is an award-winning playwright and science fiction author, and has had readings in Anchorage, New York City, Los Angeles, and Albuquerque. Lucas has published several short stories, created comic book art, and is currently working on a novel.  Lucas struggles to find the time to hunt caribou, deer, bears and ducks, but does so to fill his freezer with meat every year. He attends local comic book and anime conventions with his children, and enjoys putting together costumes for these events.
