Lucy Gram

Lucy Gram is a freelance director of theatre and film who specializes in developing new work. She is the Artistic Director of One Bird Productions, which develops, champions, and produces new work by emerging and under-produced playwrights on a project-by-project basis. She has developed new work with the 29th Street Playwrights Collective, Jersey City Theatre Center, One Bird Productions, the Dramatists Guild of America, and the Munroe Center for the Arts. As an assistant director, Lucy has worked with Lisa Peterson, Jessica Kubzansky, Joe Grifasi, Wendy Dann, Rachel Lampert, and more at companies including Long Wharf Theatre, the Dallas Theater Center, and the Kitchen Theatre Company. She was the associate producer of 2017 Kennedy Center honoree Carmen de Lavallade’s As I Remember It. She is an alumna of Director’s Lab West and has participated in Jon Shear’s Take Action Workshop. Lucy is an LA native and has a B.A. in Drama and English from Ithaca College.
