Mackenzie Ward

Mackenzie Ward is a playwright born and raised in Southern California (San Diego) but has recently relocated to New York City. She received her BA in English - Creative Writing with a minor in Theatre Arts from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Mackenzie focused on dramatic literature and playwriting in her studies where she received an undergraduate research grant for her project, Hoping for Change: A Reconsideration of the “Hopeless” Landscapes of Samuel Beckett. Most recently, she was the dramaturgy and literary management intern at La Jolla Playhouse.
