Maddie Gaw is a dramaturg and arts administrator in the Bay Area who loves to evangelize the power of the playwright-dramaturg relationship. As a dramaturg Maddie has collaborated with Playwrights Foundation/Bay Area Playwrights Festival (where she is also the Literary Manager), Marin Theatre Company, Crowded Fire Theater, The Custom Made Theatre Co., foolsFURY Theatre Company, and Golden Thread Productions. As a producer she has collaborated with 3Girls Theatre Company (2018-19 Salon Reading Series), 6NewPlays (Erin Bregman’s That it all makes perfect), and Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas (2017 National Conference). Maddie also offers freelance script consultation to local playwrights, so drop her a line! When she is not working in new play development, Maddie works in fundraising development at Berkeley Repertory Theatre. Proud native East Coaster, LMDA member, and Sarah Lawrence College alum.
