Michael Jerome Johnson is a Fight Director and Certified Teacher with the Society of American Fight Directors and a Master Instructor and Senior Fight Director with Dueling Arts International. He made his career as an actor, director and fight director in his hometown of Washington, DC. His work has been seen at DC area theatres such as Arena Stage, Shakespeare Theatre Company, The Kennedy Center, Ford's Theater, Studio Theatre, Round House Theatre, and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company (where he was an original company member) to name a few. Michael has taught and/or directed fight for the Maryland Opera Studio at the University of Maryland, Georgetown University, Catholic University, AMDA-New York, National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, AADA, Indiana University, Nortwestern University of Louisiana, Ithaca College and his alma mater, UNC School of the Arts.
