Nate Eppler

Nate Eppler is a playwright and new play advocate currently serving as Playwright-in-Residence for Nashville Repertory Theatre. Mr. Eppler’s plays include The Ice Treatment (Finalist Steinberg/American Theatre Critics Association New Play Award; Winner 2017 M. Elizabeth Osborn New Play Award), Long Way Down (Semi-Finalist Steinberg/American Theatre Critics Association New Play Award), Good Monsters and Larries. Mr. Eppler serves as Director of the Nashville Repertory Theatre Ingram New Works Project, a new play incubator that empowers new voices in the American theatre with transformative support. In addition to his work as a theatre artist, Mr. Eppler runs a trailer park, used to teach actors how to convincingly portray emergency room illnesses, and was once, briefly, a peanut M&M. Mr. Eppler is represented by the Gersh Agency and is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild of America.
