Navida Stein is an award winning storyteller, classically trained actress and musician and playwright. Her latest work includes The Willa Cather Salon, an adaptation of Willa Cather's first short stories with vocal and instrumental music from the 19th century. These stories explore the need to belong and create, the transformative power of music and the craving for beauty in a brutal world. Her most recent solo show, Secrets of a Watchful Sparrow: Daddy, Me & OCD tells of a daughter's journey away from fear and vigilance and towards forgiveness.
