Noelle Viñas (she/hers) is a writer and educator from Montevideo, Uruguay and Springfield, Virginia. In the last two years, her theater work has included a world premiere of her play DERECHO at La Jolla Playhouse; being in residence as part of the Working Farm at SPACE on Ryder Farm and at New York Stage and Film; commissions from Woolly Mammoth Theater Company (cóndor), Colt Coeur (matrescence), and IAMA Theatre Company's seed commission for tether, which was part of New York Stage & Film's 2025 Summer Season. In musical theater, she's collaborated as a book writer aand occasional lyricist with Julián Mesri, Micha Rodriguez, and Jonathan Kirby. Her TV work includes staffing on MRS. DAVIS, created by Tara Hernandez and Damon Lindelof, and teaching Writing the TV Pilot in the MFA program at Columbia University. She sometimes produces work as Goblin Brain Productions, which invests in the unusual and unexpected, and explores how language can be a tool of belonging and power. B.A. in Acting & Playwriting from Emerson College, M.F.A. in Playwriting from Brooklyn College.
