
Pamela is a freelance dramaturg with a passion for new plays. She has developed plays with playwrights at several theatre companies, including: The Abbey Theatre, Druid, The New Theatre Dublin, Tron Theatre, Citizens Theatre, EdenCourt, and Playwrights Studio Scotland. Pamela also works with adaptations of scripts through improvisation from archival and documentary sources such as Roadkill with Cora Bissett and Stef Smith or adapting Jimmy's Hall from a film script by Paul Laverty and Ken Loach with Graham McLaren. She holds an MLitt in Dramaturgy and Playwriting from the University of Glasgow. Pamela has worked for Creative Scotland and the Arts Council of Ireland. Her academic writing has been published in the International Journal of Scottish Stage and Screen and Immersive Theatre: Engaging the Audience (vol. 1) Common Ground Publishing.
