R. Christopher Maxwell hails from the bustling southern metropolis of Little Rock. During his early years in the natural state, Chris earned a double B.A. in Theater Arts-Dance and Sociology from The University of Arkansas. "CMax" enjoys all forms of storytelling from trashy television to devastating devised works. The art of theater making is both an honor and a pleasure. In his career, he hopes to explore new mediums and untold stories. As part of his journey, he spent several years as resident Stage Manager for Chicago’s premier Drag non-profit Hell in a Handbag Productions and as special events management including McCormick Place and the Historic Navy Pier. Recently he received a Master's of Fine Arts in Stage Management from Columbia University's School of the Arts. He is also a 2nd year Stage Manager at Actor's Equity Association. He currently resides with his partner and two kittens in Harlem.

Christopher Maxwell, John Meredith, Alexander Murphy, Quinn O’Connor, Phyllis Y Smith, and Chris Waters—explore a few places white supremacist culture play out in their work—focusing on urgency, quantity over quality, perfectionism, objectivity, and power-hoarding.
