Robert Stanton has been acting for thirty-two years. He won an Obie Award in David Ives's All in the Timing at Primary Stages, and won the 2016 Emery Battis Award for his performances as Mr. Puff in Sheridan's The Critic adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher, and Moon in Tom Stoppard's The Real Inspector Hound at the Shakespeare Theatre Company. He is a founder and central organizer of #FairWageOnstage, a grassroots movement of Actors’ Equity members separate from—but working alongside and in support of—our union as they take up the fight we started: to make a decent, living wage.
