Robin Bernstein is a cultural historian who specializes in the history of US theatre and performance.  The Chair of the Program of Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality at Harvard University, she teaches in the Department of African and African American Studies and in Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
