Ronald McCants is an emerging playwright in residence at Center Theatre Group. His awards and fellowships include: Craig Noel Outstanding New Play (San Diego Critics), Theater Masters Visionary Playwright Award, Patt Award for Outstanding New Play, Fred Rogers Memorial Scholarship, Lorraine Hansberry Playwriting Award (2nd place), and several other honors.
