Sam Collier is a playwright, poet, and theater artist. Her plays include SILO TREE (2019 Michigan Playwrights Festival); THING WITH FEATHERS (2019 Women's Theatre Festival); A HUNDRED CIRCLING CAMPS (2018 Goodman Playwrights Unit commission); and DAISY VIOLET THE BITCH BEAST KING (2018 UC Davis Ground & Field Festival; 2018 Valdez Last Frontier Theatre Conference). She has held residencies with the National Writers Series of Traverse City, the Goodman Playwrights Unit, and the Iowa Lakeside Laboratory. She is a co-host, with Sarah Cho, of the playwriting podcast BECKETT'S BABIES, and she holds an MFA in playwriting from the University of Iowa.
