Sam Turich is a writer, director, and actor who creates original plays and films. He’s a creative team member and director for the Bricolage Production Company's immersive projects STRATA and OjO. He wrote and directed the short film Mombies and the feature film Progression (progressionmovie.com). His theatre directing credits include: the world premieres of Gab Cody’s Fat Beckett (Quantum Theatre - Pittsburgh Post-Gazette 2011 Top Ten Production), and The Magnificent Hour at the New York International Fringe Festival. At Gotham City Improv, Sam created Off the Top of Our Heads, winner of the Sixth Big Apple Improv Festival, which won the title "Best Improv Group in New York." As an actor, Sam has worked on films with Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Seth Rogen, Joanne Woodward, and Laura Linney. His theatre credits include Armless, the Best Overall Production Award winner at the NY International Fringe Festival; and world premiere productions including Crush the Infamous Thing (which he co-wrote with longtime collaborator Gab Cody and Tina Benko). Sam is a graduate of Columbia University and the British American Drama Academy; he holds a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Digital Technology from Chatham University.
