Samuel Taylor

Samuel Taylor is a Shakespearean actor in Chicago. He trained at the Guthrie and at the Globe in London. He has appeared in more than two dozen complete Shakespearean productions, at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, The Guthrie, American Players Theatre, on national tours, and elsewhere. He has appeared in as many more productions with the Back Room Shakespeare Project, of which he is a co-founder and ongoing participant. The Back Room Shakespeare Project follows a crowd-conscious, actor-empowered Elizabethan model: serious actors, no director, one rehearsal, at a bar.
