Sara Billmann is the Vice President of Marketing & Communications for the University Musical Society. She started at UMS while an undergrad at the University of Michigan, left to pursue an MBA at Stanford University and work for San Francisco Opera, then returned to UMS, where she has headed up the marketing and communications team for the past 28 years. In that role, she is responsible for developing audiences for the myriad programs UMS offers and takes a keen interest in both the artistic and analytical side of the performing arts.
