Sarah Orem

Sarah Orem is a scholar, writer, and disability activist. She is currently finishing her PhD in English at the University of Texas at Austin, where she studies the work of American women playwrights. She also holds degrees from New York University and Rice University. Sarah lives with OCD and has spoken publicly about her experiences with mental illness through the organization OCD Texas. She is also currently the managing editor of Praxis: A Writing Center Journal.
