Sarah Rose Leonard

Sarah Rose Leonard is the Literary Manager at Berkeley Repertory Theatre. Prior to moving back to the Bay Area, where she grew up, she made theatre as a dramaturg, director, and creative producer in NYC for eight years. She has worked as the Literary Associate at Signature Theatre, the Associate Agent at AO International, the Next Generation Fellow at The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center at the CUNY Graduate Center, and the Literary Resident at Playwrights Horizons. Sarah Rose has co-curated the PRELUDE.14 festival, curated/produced FEM, an annual event about femininity, and was the Creative Producer for the collaborative writers groupSmith+Tinker at HERE and for DESORIENTACIÓN, a cross-cultural reading series in Chile. She has been a script reader for Page 73, the Sundance Institute, Playwrights Realm, and The O’Neill, among others. She was the Theatre Editor for Culturebot from ’14-’15 and is a member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab.
