Seth Wilson is a Chicago-based writer, scholar, and theatre artist.

Seth Wilson holds a Ph.D. in theatre and performance studies from the University of Georgia. His dissertation project focused on the history of the English actress and the performance of gender. Other research interests include directing and dramaturgy, Soviet theatre, sports as performance, media and cinema studies, and philosophy and performance. He currently teaches theatre history at the University of Illinois Chicago and is an ensemble member of Stage Left Theatre.
