Playwright/Dramaturg/Educator

Talia Rodriguez is a Jewish Cuban playwright, dramaturg, and director. She came to theater through Maria Irene Fornes and loves plays about women talking about life. She has directed one play, Leave if No Response, and written several plays, namely, How Do Funny People Have Sex? & Pitbull’s Party at the End. She has also served as a dramaturg on several productions (Oedipus el Rey, Small Mouth Sounds, and Mojada - all at Wesleyan). Many people in her family have lived in Miami. In her free time, Talia likes to read, listen to Cuban music, play basketball, go on walks, cook, collage, plan for the future, and hang out with friends and family.
