Tim Jennings is the Executive Director/CEO of the Shaw Festival in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, Canada - one of North America's 5 largest charitable theatre companies.

A respected and awarded theatre manager in both Canada and the United States, Tim  is a passionate social advocate known for his creativity, financial acumen, leadership skills and energy.

Beginning his career in theatre production and management 35 years ago, Mr. Jennings career is highlighted by roles as Managing Director of Toronto’s Roseneath Theatre, the Seattle Children’s Theatre (SCT) and the Tony Award-winning Children’s Theatre Company of Minneapolis (CTC) – the world’s leading family theatre. During his time at these companies, Mr. Jennings increased revenue, built endowments, created new business alliances to enhance the reputation and scope of the companies, and supported the visionary work of his artistic partners.

In addition to his management accomplishments, Mr. Jennings has also taught  Theatre Production and Management and has sat on many industry and academic boards, including the Theatre Communications Group (TCG) – the national organization for the American theatre – where he served as its Treasurer from 2013 to 2018. In 2013, Mr Jennings was also a founding cohort member of TCG’s Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Institute.

Mr. Jennings joined the Shaw Festival (Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, Canada) as its Executive Director/CEO in the late fall of 2015 and works alongside Artistic Director Tim Carroll and their staff of 520 of the world's most dedicated and expert artists, artisans and arts workers to produce 11-14 productions each season in rotational repertory from April to December to an audience of over 250,000.
