Tyler King is a freelance Director and currently serving as the Artistic Director for the Wimberley Players. Prior to this position, he co-founded the theatre company Out of Context Productions and spent time working with local companies Theatre en Bloc, Doctuh Mistuh Productions, and Summer Stock Austin. Internationally he has interned at the SOHO Theatre (London, England), Skopje Dramski (Skopje, Macedonia), and participated in the Rhodopi International Theatre Laboratory (Smolyan, Bulgaria). With a background in the tech sector, he is passionate about how we can leverage technology to deepen our engagement with our audiences and grow our audience base.
