Whitney started her career at Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago, where she worked in both the literary and education departments. She has taught Principles of Dramaturgy and Script Analysis at Emerson College, worked alongside the fine folks at ArtsEmerson/HowlRound, and since moving to New York has worked at Scott Rudin Productions, The Weinstein Company and is currently the VP of Film and TV at Anonymous Content, a production company. She received her MFA in Dramaturgy and Dramatic Criticism from the Yale School of Drama, where she was a co-artistic director of the Yale Cabaret.
