This panel presents perspectives that elucidate and redefine environmental justice and how culture, performance, and storytelling impact awareness and social transformation around these issues.

Art of Performance season artists and collaborators share provocative and visionary thoughts.

Participating artists and leaders include Héctor Flores Komatsu (Artistic Director of Andares by Makuyeika Colectivo Teatral); Ronee Penoi of Octopus Theatricals and Groundwater Arts); and Kyoko Yoshida (Executive Director, U.S./Japan Cultural Trade Network, Inc.; and Co-Director, Theatre of Yugen).

Panel moderator: Dr. Jessica Young (Assistant Professor of English, Gender Studies /Humanities & Interdisciplinary Programs, New College of Florida).
