Briandaniel Oglesby

Briandaniel Oglesby is a queer and (half) Latino playwright from California, now living in Austin. He writes plays for teens and plays for mature audiences. He recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin MFA in Playwriting program. For ten years, he was Literary Manager of Barnyard Theatre, a company committed to new work he co-founded in Davis, California. He is now Director of Theatre Arts at Skybridge Academy. He won the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Latinidad Playwriting award for his play She Gets Naked in the End, and his play Halfway, Nebraska was developed at Playwrights' Week at the Lark and went on to win the Outstanding Playwriting Award from the New York International Fringe Festival.
