Callie Nestleroth

Callie is a new work theatre director passionate about developing innovative ways of engaging audiences directly into the world of the production.

Callie is a theatre maker, director, and script reader originally from Washington DC, now based in London. Recent credits include Social Media Suicide (Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2018) and Oh Heroine How I Love You! (London tour, Camden Libraries) and she is a current member of the SDCF Observership class. She is the co-founder and Artistic Director of theatre and participation company The Heroine Chronicles, and with them currently developing new project Dreaming Real. Her work has previously been seen in New York City as part of Make Music New York, The Young Playwrights Festival (O'Neill Center), Fresh Ground Pepper's CHALLENGE program, Kraine Theater, and multiple new writing workshops.
