Cheryl Lynn Bruce

Cheryl Lynn Bruce and her husband, the artist Kerry James Marshall live in Chicago’s historic Bronzeville neighborhood. She made her professional debut in the 1979 Goodman Theatre production of Death and the King’s Horseman directed by its Nobel Laureate author and statesman Wole Soyinka. She has appeared on regional stages, in film, television, and radio across the country, and performed in the U.K., Austria, and Mexico as well.
