Before gender transitioning, Delia Kropp trained in England and Chicago, and acted with a variety of Chicago companies including The Goodman, Red Twist, Griffin, Lifeline, and Pegasus Players. and directed a number of productions for Chicago storefront and educational institutions. Post-transition, Delia’s female acting career Includes Raggedy And by David Valdes Greenwood, The Transcivility of Albert Cashier (book by Jay Paul Deratany, music by Joe Stevens & Keaton Wooden) and the first transgender actor to portray Charlotte Von Mahlsdorf in a professional production of the Pulitzer & Tony winning I Am My Own Wife by Doug Wright.
Delia is also the proud recipient of the Leppen Leadership Award for services to the Chicago LGBT Community. In 2019 she begins filming in Atlanta on "Landlocked", directed by Tim Hall.
