Edit Győrik has been working in the field of young people’s personality-focused development, education and support since 1990. She also works with high school dropouts, endangered youth, and professionals trained to support these target groups. She established the Belvárosi Tanoda Foundation, co-founded the Megálló Group for People with Dependencies Foundation, and has worked in several school development projects. She created and implemented the methodology of “Helping Pedagogy.” She runs courses and trainings on helping relationships, mentoring, and teamwork. She is a qualified and experienced mentor, trainer, and coach.

She met the KOMA Bázis team in 2015. She joined the team and has been a committed member ever since. She believes that the Base can create a milieu where young people, who may have been given up on, can find a home, a solid background, a place where their personality can flourish. Since September 2016, she has been the project supervisor of the KOMA Learning Centre Program.
