Eissa is a playwright and a media strategist based in Pakistan whose work merges communication tactics and performance to create narratives that challenge sociopolitical ideas. In 2017, he wrote Home Sick, a play that explores how Muslim-American communities deal with questions of sexuality and being American. Eissa holds a BA from Bennington College and an MA from the George Washington University.
