
Ellen Mareneck is Assistant Professor of Communication Arts & Sciences at Bronx Community College/CUNY. She has been a professional actress for over thirty years, performing in plays at The Public Theater, Manhattan Theatre Club, SoHo Rep, Actor’s Theatre of Louisville, and New Georges, among others. She is a member of Ensemble Studio Theatre. Her academic fields are Theatre and Speech. She has a BA from Brown University, an MFA in Acting from Brandeis University, and an MA in Speech-Language Pathology from Lehman College. She is currently researching the use of theatre techniques to improve quality of life in children who stutter.
