Jennifer Lane

Jennifer Lane is a writer and teaching artist originally from Troy, Michigan. Her work includes Harlowe (developed under the mentorship of Sarah Ruhl, winner of the Alec Baldwin Fellowship at Singers Forum, presented at the Gulfshore Playhouse); and The Seer and the Witch (nuVoices for anuGeneration Festival 2013, Nominated for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize and the Sue Nims Distinguished Playwriting Award, a Semifinalist for the O’Neill Playwriting Conference). Her plays have been presented all over the country, including such venues as LiveGirls! Theatre, the Culture Project Women Center Stage Festival, The Actors Theatre of Charlotte, the Inkwell Theatre, Washington Rogues, Gorilla Tango Theatre and at the Samuel French Off Off Broadway Festival. Jenny is an alum of the Mission to (dit)Mars Propulsion Playwriting Lab and the terraNOVA Collective’sGroundbreakers Playwriting Group. Jenny is a graduate of the Columbia University MFA Playwriting Program and Sarah Lawrence College.
