Jennifer Schmidt is a dramaturg, theater scholar, and critic. 

Jennifer Schmidt is a dramaturg, theater scholar, and critic. In 2018, she received her Doctor of Fine Arts in Dramaturgy and Dramatic Criticism from Yale School of Drama. Her dissertation, “The Silent Sex Speaks: Female Solo Performance in American from 1890-2000,” traces the history of the one-woman show in America. Jennifer also performs as an actor, musician, and Gene Kelly in drag. She calls Minnesota home.
