Joe C. Klug is the Visiting Professor of Scenic Design at Florida International University. His works centers around trying to engage with the theatre audience in this social media driven society. By exploring, shifting, and challenging the traditional relationship between Audience and Performer his work aims to shake the audience awake and engage them with the story being told on stage. His work can be seen on the stages at Remy Bumppo Theatre Company Chicago, Arkansas Shakespeare,The Milwaukee Repertory. Joe seeks to engage students in conversations of design and help them discover themselves as a theatre designer, artist, and collaborator.
