Jonathan David Martin is the Co-Artistic Director of Brooklyn-based Smoke & Mirrors Collaborative. With Smoke & Mirrors he co-conceived and directed Point of Departure and is currently performing in the international tour of Ndebele Funeral. Other performer credits include Lincoln Center’s production of War Horse, the upcoming Gutting at National Black Theatre, and regionally at Two Rivers Theater, Portland Center Stage, Shakespeare Santa Monica, and Seattle Children’s Theatre. Jonathan is a co-founding member of Washington Ensemble Theatre in Seattle, WA and a member of Not Man Apart Physical Theatre Ensemble in Los Angeles. Other directing credits include The Tempest with Touchstone Theatre and Send ‘Em in or Send ‘Em Away at the NYU Freeplay Festival. MFA NYU Grad Acting. He is a recipient of The Leonore Annenberg Foundation Fellowship for the Arts.
