Mackenzie Goodwin is a HowlRound Commons Producer covering the Mellon Foundation residency of playwright Nathan Louis Jackson at the Kansas City Repertory Theatre. She is a theater artist, actor, director, and writer based in Kansas City. Recent projects include directing The Burcher's Son, a performance memoir written by and starring her husband Vi Tran, directing the world premiere of Acopalypse by Jeff Smith for the Kansas City Fringe Festival, stage managing Master of the Universe by Kyle Hatley at The Living Room Theatre, and co-writing a new theatrical adaptation, also with her husband, of The Wind in the Willows. She has worked in various capacities for the KC Rep, The Living Room, Kansas City Actors Theatre, The Fishtank, The MET, The Buffalo Room, The Kansas City Ballet, and many more.
