Marta Keil

Marta Keil – performing arts curator, based in Warsaw, Poland. Between 2012 and 2017 she curated together with Grzegorz Reske Konfrontacje Teatralne — international performing arts festival in Lublin. She created and curates the East European Performing Arts Platform (www.eepap.culture.pl). Worked as curator and dramaturg with i.e. Agnieszka Jakimiak, Rabih Mroué, She She Pop, Agata Siniarska, Ana Vujanović. Between 2014 and 2016 she worked as curator at Teatr Polski in Bydgoszcz and co-curated the first edition of the Festival of New Dramaturgies. One of the initiators and curators of the Identity.Move! project (www.identitymove.eu). Between 2008 and 2012 she worked as performing arts curator in the Adam Mickiewicz Institute (www.iam.pl) and cooperated with the Zbigniew Raszewski Theater Institute in Warsaw, where she has been running the Dramaturgical Forum. She cooperated also with i.e. the Culture Centre in Lublin, Schauspielhaus Bochum and Institute of Contemporary Arts in Yerevan. Editor of the books „Choreography: Politicality” (Poznań-Lublin_Warsaw 2018), „Reclaiming the Obvious: on the Institution of Festival” (Warsaw-Lublin 2017), “Dance, Process, Artistic Research. Contemporary Dance in the Political, Economic and Social Context of “Former East” of Europe”(Warsaw 2015) and co-editor of the monograph issue of „Polish Theatre Journal” on institutional practices. Author of numerous articles, essays and critics published in books and magazines (such as „Dialog”, „Didaskalia”, „Maska”, „Walking Theory”). PhD candidate at the Polish Academy of Science's Art Institute.
