Maya Roth

Maya Roth holds the Della Rosa Professorship at Georgetown University, where she was founding Artistic Director of the Davis Center. She specializes in contemporary women playwrights, cross-cultural adaptations of classics, and the oeuvre of Timberlake Wertenbaker. Currently Heather Raffo's developmental dramaturg for Noura, Maya stewarded the Jane Chambers Contest for feminist playwriting 2007-2016.

To Tell a Story About the Earth is part scripted play, part guided introduction to devising. The creative team reflects on their development process, which took them to Georgetown University for joyful, interdisciplinary co-creation at the crossroads of new play development, environmental studies, and local activism.
