Meiyin Wang is a producer and curator of live performance based in the Bay Area, specializing in cross disciplinary contemporary performance. She is currently working with Pig Iron Theatre Company, Andrew Ondrejcak, Toshi Reagon/ Eric Ting, Tina Satter/ Half Straddle. She is also an Andrew W. Mellon Creative Fellow at the University of Washington. Wang was most recently the Co-Director of Under the Radar Festival at The Public Theater in New York; Festival Director of La Jolla Playhouse’s Without Walls, a site-specific and experiential city-wide performance festival; the curator of the Park Avenue Armory’s artist residency series, and the lead curator of Arts Emerson’s TNT Festival. Wang served on the board of Theater Communications Group and is an associate artist of Singapore Repertory Theatre. She holds an M.F.A. in Directing from Columbia University. Meiyin was born and raised in Singapore.
