Paulette Marty teaches theatre history, play analysis, directing and dramaturgy at Appalachian State University. She has published on medieval and early modern English theatre, contemporary directing, and theatre pedagogy, including the book Contemporary Women Stage Directors: Conversations on Craft (Methuen Drama, 2019.)
