Sam French is a junior directing major at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama. Working towards becoming a director and writer, he secretly dreams of dramaturgy. Past experiences include interning with New York Theatre Workshop, co-writing/directing a musical about the Beatles performing their own version of The Lord of the Rings, and starting a briefly-lived amateur theater group in Saint Petersburg, Florida dedicated to connecting high-school/college theater students with downtown performance venues. No relation to the publisher, beyond a mutual respect for top hats.
