Scott Walters is Professor of Drama at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. He is the Director of the Center for Rural Arts Development and Leadership Education (CRADLE), and long-time author of the Theatre Ideas blog. Walters is also the co-author with Cal Pritner of Introduction to Play Analysis published by McGraw-Hill. He lives on a fifteen acre farm in Bakersville, NC (population: 459) with his wife, Laura, four sheep, three rabbits, three dogs, and three cats.
