Seth Bockley is a writer and director based in the great Midwest. His work has been seen at theaters around the country including Goodman Theatre, Victory Gardens, Sideshow, Red Tape, and Dog and Pony in Chicago, and The Public Theater, Foundry and En Garde Arts in New York. He has also created work in Mexico City with company La Piara, and with the Donegal Arts Festival in Ireland. He teaches at the University of Chicago.Seth Bockley is a Chicago-based playwright, director and performer. He has created theater with several Chicago companies including Collaboraction, Dog & Pony and Redmoon, where he spent two years as a Directing Apprentice through TCG's New Generations program. Current commissions include the book for February House, a collaboration with lyricist and composer Gabriel Kahane for the Public Theater. Upcoming directing efforts include Civilization (all you can eat) by Jason Grote for Clubbed Thumb (NYC). He is a member of the Goodman Theater Playwrights' Unit and a recipient of the Goodman's Ofner Prize.
