Spectrum Theatre Ensemble presented conversations from the Neurodiversity Matters Conference 2021 livestreaming on the global, commons-based, peer produced HowlRound TV network at howlround.tv on Friday 16 April and Saturday 17 April 2021.
Spectrum Theatre Ensemble (STE) is proud to announce its second Neurodiversity Matters Conference. The Conference will feature experts and artists from around the country discussing important neurodivergent issues. STE’s goal for the Conference is to spread awareness, destigmatize neurodivergence, and increase disability inclusion in society.
“Last year we created the Neurodiversity Matters Conference as we needed to pivot our planned programming online,” states Teddy Lytle, Associate Artistic Director of Spectrum Theatre Ensemble, who is organizing the event this year. “It turned out to be incredibly effective in engaging people across the country, educating the general populous about neurodiverse inclusion in the arts, and spreading awareness about current neurodivergent issues in society.”
