British Council USA Arts presented The Illusion of Power and the Power of Illusion: Viewing Media Through an Artistic Lens, livestreamed on the global, commons-based peer-produced HowlRound TV network at howlround.tv on Thursday 3 October 2013 at 3 p.m. PDT / 5 p.m. CDT / 6 p.m. EDT / 22:00 GMT / 11 p.m. BST.

The British Council Director of Arts, Graham Sheffield CBEwill host the panel discussion at Park Avenue Armory on the issues explored in the US premiere of Massive Attack v Adam Curtis, a site-specific music and film piece which will run at Park Avenue Armory, New York from 28 September to 4 October 2013.

The discussion will revolve around the broad issues explored in the production, as well as the role of arts in challenging public thought.
