Join us in celebration of the lives of our seniors while they can still hear their applause. Their stories will be collected by and shared with cross generational audiences with the goal of creating cultural connectivity between youth and seniors.
DN strives to assist the community in developing moveable, interactive spaces that are creative and respectful and where all ages feel welcome through crossgenerational performances, storytelling, poetry, and musical performances.
According to Antoinette Ford, founder of DN, the Mobile Porch launch will “acknowledge the legacy and contributions of senior members of the community by collecting their stores and celebrating their lives in order to recapture and preserve significant elements of our community.”
