Calling all new play makers! Join Company One (C1) and some of New England’s most dynamic playwrights for an evening of collective conversation about the changing new play landscape.

As training programs and development opportunities for writers close across the country, how are playwrights navigating institutional relationships, identifying development opportunities, and building sustainable careers as artists?

How can new play artists claim the mantle of cultural leadership and help steer the American theatre forward into a new, more equitable future?

We'll discuss these questions and more with C1 Resident Playwright Kirsten Greenidge alongside playwrights Melinda Lopez, Nia Akilah Robinson, and Brandon Zang.
