2022 LTC Comedy Carnaval

The 2022 Latinx Theatre Commons (LTC) Comedy Carnaval, hosted by Su Teatro Cultural & Performing Arts Center, highlighted some of the best Latinx comedic talent in the country. The event had two goals: to introduce national theatre decision-makers to new comedy Latinx plays and talent, and to connect the local and national Latinx theatremaking communities. This series gathers writing about the event and the featured projects.

The 2022 Latinx Theatre Commons (LTC) Comedy Carnaval presented a broad range of Latinx comedy content and conversations. Programming will highlight artistic voices and content creators who practice comedic arts through theatre, stand-up, sketch, improv, podcasts, and webseries.

Series are collections of content curated around a specific theme. HowlRound works with curators to develop topical pieces meant to spotlight current events and happenings within the commons.
